HondaJet Type Rating
Currently the HondaJet is in flight testing and is not yet certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Once the HondaJet is certified the HondaJet Type Rating will be available. The HondaJet Type Rating course will follow type rating rules for a commuter class aircraft. The FAA's Flight Standardization Board (FSB) will provide information on the available HondaJet type ratings and the training required to obtain them.
HondaJet Type Rating Providers
Honda Aircraft has selected FlightSafety International to be the official HondaJet type rating provider. FlightSafety is currently preparing the HondaJet type rating course. FlightSafety expects that the course will be available by the middle/end of 2012. To learn more about the HondaJet training provided by FlightSafety and other providers visit our HondaJet training page.
More information on the HondaJet type rating will be provided once the HondaJet is certified by the FAA and is revived by the FSB.
The HondaJet Type Rating is also referred to as the Honda Jet Type Rating, HA-420 Type Rating and the HDJT Type Rating.
