Bombardier CRJ1000 Range
The range of the Bombardier CRJ1000 regional jet depends on which model the jet is. Bombardier has the EL, Base and ER versions of the jet. Each of these 3 models have different Bombardier CRJ1000 Range numbers. The variance in range numbers seems to be due to the different max ramp and takeoff weights, allowing for more or less fuel on the CRJ1000. The Bombardier CRJ1000 EL range is 971 nautical miles, CRJ1000 Range (Base) is 1,425 nautical miles and the Bombardier CRJ1000 ER range is 1,622 nautical miles. Below is more information on CRJ1000 Range including conditions for the calculations of the range. Information is from Bombardier's CRJ1000 NextGen fact sheet, March 2013.
Bombardier CRJ1000 Range across the different models:
Range accounts for 100 passengers, 31" seat pitch, 225 lb. or 102 kg per passenger., Mach 0.78, IFR reserves.
- Bombardier CRJ1000 EL NextGen Range: 971 nautical miles 1,118 statute miles 1,798 kilometers
- CRJ1000 NextGen Range: 1,425 nautical miles 1,640 statute miles 2,639 kilometers
- CRJ1000 ER NextGen Range: 1,622 nautical miles 1,867 statute miles 3,004 kilometers

The Bombardier CRJ1000 range is also called the Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen range, Bombardier CL-600-2E25 range, Canadair CL-600-2E25 range, Bombardier CRJX range, Bombardier CRK range, Canadair Regional Jet 1000 range or the Bombardier CRJ 1000 range / CRJ-1000 range (with a space or a dash) due to the various names for the regional jet airplane.
