The Bombardier Challenger 850ER is an extended range version of the Challenger 850 business jet. Challenger 850ER range is around 3,100 nautical miles as reported by some aviation media outlets. An auxiliary fuel tank is added the the Challenger 850 to turn it into an Challenger 850ER with the extra range. All other features of the Bombardier Challenger 850ER jet are the same as the Challenger 850 aircraft.

Also the Bombardier Challenger 850ER is also sometimes typed with a space in between the 850 and the ER (Bombardier Challenger 850 ER).
