Order Was Already Accounted For On The Boeing Site.
Boeing has released that Transavia Company was one of the companies that have placed an order for the 737-800 NG (Next Generation). The order was already posted on the Boeing website as from an unidentified customer. The order is for 17 737-800 jets plus additional options for 3 extra jets, bringing the possible order total to 20 737-800 jets. The order is valued at $1.6 billion USD ($1,600,000,000) at list prices, which is not the actual price the company is paying. Transavia Company is a subsidiary of Air France KLM Group and is a low cost carrier operating flights from the Netherlands and France. The airline currently operates 45 Boeing 737 Next Generation jets.
