Republic Airways Holdings Inc has ordered 5 Embraer E175 jets from Embraer. The order's estimated value is $222 million USD ($222,000,000) at list prices, which is not the final price that Republic is paying. The E175 jets will be equipped with 76 seats in a two class configuration. The jets are expected to be delivered by the middle of 2016. Republic Airways is currently the largest operator of the Embraer E-Jet series. The regional airline has an additional 97 jets on order and 32 options with Embraer. Republic may have received some of those airplanes from the previous orders already.
